A newborn baby needs to be loved, fed, clothed, changed, cleansed, taught, cared for, etc. All of these things are necessary for a baby’s survival, growth and well-being. It works much the same way in the spirit. We need to be cleansed, fed, taught, cared for and loved daily if we are going to grow up spiritually.
